Operations Controlling Specialist (f/m/d)


As Operations Controlling Specialist, you will support operations managers in their day-to-day business with regard to planning, budgeting, cost analysing for better management decision-making.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a business partner to support operations managers in the plant controlling activities
  • Being responsible for all operational related reports, closely support operations team for all cost related analysis
  • Independently Initiating the entire analysis with the tool of SAP/BPC/BW. Identifying the root cause of the deviation and keeping the continuous monitoring of the deviation
  • Initiating the monthly cost center cost review with operations managers to ensure a proper costing structure, set the target together with the department managers and drive them for continuous improvement.
  • Cooperating with project leader for the project analysis, know-how about the technical; converting the content to financial figures to check the feasibility and the progress of the related project, implement EVA calculation of the project
  • Carrying out monthly estimation, quarterly forecast and annual budget at plant level
  • Supporting month end closing work

Your Profile:

  • BA and/or above in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
  • 5+ years of working experience in operations controlling. 
  • Good analytical skill and critical thinking
  • Good time management skills to meet project deadlines
  • Profound Excel and SAP skills (FI/CO, BW, BPC)
  • Fluent in English and German both written and oral
  • Strong business and technical understanding
  • Independent, solution-oriented and proactive way of working
