Ihre Aufgaben:
- Verfassen einer Dissertation innerhalb der Gruppe für Quantengravitation an der Universität Graz unter der Betreuung von Alessia Platania
- Teilnahme an Gruppentreffen, Seminaren und gemeinsamen Forschungsaktivitäten
- Beitrag zum akademischen Leben der Fakultät, z. B. durch Unterstützung bei Lehr- oder Tutor:innentätigkeiten, gemäß den Bestimmungen der Universität
- Selbständige Durchführung von Lehrveranstaltungen und Abhaltung von Prüfungen
- Betreuung von Studierenden
- Mitarbeit an Organisations- und Verwaltungsaufgaben sowie an Evaluierungsmaßnahmen

Ihre Aufgaben:
- Selbständige Forschung innerhalb der Gruppe für Quantengravitation zu betreiben und zu deren wissenschaftlichen Zielen beizutragen
- Teilnahme an gemeinsamen Seminaren und Forschungstreffen
- Entwicklung neuer Forschungsrichtungen, die mit den Kernthemen der Gruppe im Einklang stehen
- Mitwirkung bei der Betreuung und Mentorenschaft von Studierenden innerhalb der Gruppe
- Teilnahme am wissenschaftlichen Leben des Physikdepartments Graz, einschließlich Lehrtätigkeiten gemäß den Bestimmungen der Universität
- Mitwirkung an den allgemeinen akademischen Aktivitäten des Instituts, um ein dynamisches und kooperatives Forschungsumfeld zu fördern

- Lead, develop and train a production team of approximately 8 people with a strong improvement mindset
- Ensure stable, high‑yield, cost‑efficient and lean production processes
- Define, select and support suitable process tools and tooling for the HVM phase
- Contribute to equipment engineering topics and process documentation for all assigned tools
- Support production planning activities (PPC/IE, department‑specific PSV)
- Perform customer support, failure analysis and root cause investigations
- Manage suppliers related to process equipment (CapEx / OpEx)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction

- Manage budgeting, technical planning, and the execution of defined work packages to ensure timely and high‑quality project results that contribute to technology advancement.
- Report progress, prioritize tasks, and adjust plans as needed to secure transparency and effective decision‑making.
- Work in cross‑functional and international teams to align expertise, share knowledge, and achieve project goals collaboratively.
- Represent your technical field toward internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external project partners to ensure clarity, alignment, and professional communication.
- Operate high‑tech equipment and handle advanced electronic materials to support reliable development processes.
- Safeguard intellectual property by applying proper documentation, confidentiality, and compliance practices throughout all project activities.
- Contribute to system-level understanding by applying your technical experience, ideally with additional expertise in opto-electronic systems.
- Support the continuous improvement of internal processes, workflows, and methods.

- Vorbereitung und Bearbeitung von Proben für physikalische und analytische Messungen gemäß definierten Verfahrensanweisungen
- Durchführung von Zuverlässigkeitstests und Fehleranalysen an Materialien, IC-Substraten und Leiterplatten unter Einsatz moderner Laborgeräte
- Bewertung, Interpretation und Dokumentation der Messergebnisse nach Laborstandards
- Kalibrierung, Wartung und Pflege von Laborgeräten und Messinstrumenten
- Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Sicherheitsrichtlinien und Vorschriften im Umgang mit Gefahrstoffen.

- Lead internal work packages, projects, and project teams in line with the AT&S Innovation Process (e.g. Stage Gate Process)
- Plan, coordinate, and execute technical requirements and equipment within assigned work packages
- Represent AT&S towards internal and external stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, partners, business units, and funding agencies
- Identify, plan, and drive customer-related product development projects
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and technical execution
- Monitor and screen new technologies, processes, and products relevant to R&D
- Support the protection and further development of intellectual property (IP)
- Motivate, coordinate, and support national and international project teams to ensure successful outcomes
