- Du konzipierst und entwickelst AI-basierte Agents, die administrative oder forschungsnahe Prozesse automatisiert unterstützen
- Du nutzt und kombinierst Tools wie LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, n8n, Vektordatenbanken, Embedding-Modelle und mehr
- Du integrierst externe Systeme über REST-APIs und sorgst für robuste Datenflüsse mit JSON, XML und semantischer Indizierung
- Du gestaltest die zugrundeliegende Systemarchitektur, entwickelst Schnittstellen und berücksichtigst Aspekte der Sicherheit, Authentifizierung und Autorisierung (LDAP, OAuth2, SAML2)
- Du arbeitest mit CI/CD-Pipelines, Docker, Git, und entwickelst bevorzugt in Python mit modernen Frameworks
- Du begleitest den gesamten Lifecycle: von der Idee über Prototyping bis zur produktiven AI-Integration
- Du bringst dich in ein interdisziplinäres Team ein und berätst Kolleg:innen zum sinnvollen Einsatz von AI an der Universität
- Du bewertest neue Entwicklungen und Tools im Agentic-AI-Umfeld und entwickelst Prozesse zur Qualitätssicherung, Datenintegrität und Transparenz

Your future responsibilities
- Acquisition of R&D projects for Embedded Systems with focus on Edge-AI / Embedded AI and RISC-V accelerator development (VLSI)
- Supporting the acquisition of R&D projects for other SAL divisions in collaboration with other business developers
- Researching strategic business opportunities and directions (incl. finding new markets)
- Co-developing the division’s research strategy with senior researchers – you will provide current trends and expected developments in industry, identifying opportunities and challenges
- Key accounting for premium partners
- Developing & shaping service offerings for contract research with the team
- Liaising with Marketing/PR and researchers for marketing campaigns, updates to the division’s website, planning conference visits and demonstrations
- Representing the division at events (internally, externally)
- Attending conferences, meetings, industry events
- Developing quotes and proposals for clients.

- Develop and maintain Linux-based LoRaWAN gateways
- Enhance and streamline the CI/CD pipeline for gateway development
- Design and implement a robust fleet management system
- Work hands-on with both hardware and firmware development
- Implement comprehensive unit testing and build test setups for product evaluation
