Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the architectural landscape and roadmap aligned with strategic objectives
- Design high-level architecture solutions and manage architectural artefacts (diagrams, documentation, guidelines)
- Govern technology transitions, migrations, and decommissioning with defined paths and rollbacks
- Implement risk management for critical interfaces and end-of-life technologies
- Validate and approve architectural concepts for projects and new technologies
- Manage integration and API strategies, including middleware and contract governance
- Own SAP data architecture, migration strategy, master data governance, and data protection measures
- Build capability through coaching, architecture reviews, and standards training

- Design secure, scalable end‑to‑end solution architectures across IT infrastructure.
- Translate business and technical requirements into feasible and secure solution designs.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and IT strategy.
- Lead infrastructure- and security‑relevant initiatives as the responsible solution architect.
- Create and maintain architecture artefacts such as diagrams and decision records.
- Embed security‑by‑design and compliance requirements into all solution concepts.
- Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Cyber Security, OT, and Application teams.
- Support the handover of solutions into implementation and operations.

- Ensuring that IT practices and systems in his/her responsibility comply with global standards as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
- Accountability for areas of the global IT’s frontend, including global service desk, demand management, and IT PMO including IT portfolio management.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IT internal and external stakeholders, executives, and other departments, to ensure that the IT strategy aligns with business goals. This includes accountability for IT Business Partners for business units and the group with a special focus on group functions such as Controlling, Finance, HR, Legal, R&D, and others.
- Act as interface between business and backend services, owning the communication and stakeholder matrix.
- Adhere to corporate IT governance frameworks, specifically following the COBIT processes, guidelines and architecture. All activities that guarantee the fulfilment of the SLA’s that have been confirmed by our customers.
