Your Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and track complexR&D projects with a strong technical focus
- Translate system requirements into clear, concrete technical specifications (e.g. PCB specifications), including manufacturing and material constraints
- Coordinate and manage a wide range of stakeholders (internal teams, external suppliers, and research partners) as a technically competent counterpart
- Challenge technical assumptions and proposals to ensure optimal solutions
- Ensure accountability, transparency, and traceability of technical decisions and their impact on project outcomes
- Support the technical advancement of processes, methods, and technologies within the organization
- Prepare presentations, decision papers, and information materials for management and stakeholders; create and maintain structured, high‑quality, value‑adding project documentation
- Represent your technical field toward internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external project partners to ensure clarity, alignment, and professional communication
- Contribute to system-level understanding by applying your technical experience, as a plus in the area optical-electronical systems

Your Responsibilities
- Execute production planning activities within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Analyze production data and develop forward-looking recommendations based on structured and meaningful insights.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of planning strategies within operational systems.
- Define production targets and monitor key performance indicators to measure planning effectiveness.
- Trigger and schedule production orders based on demand-driven material requirements while considering capacity and operational constraints.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within production planning processes and the planning system landscape.
- Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders regarding production progress, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Support, influence, and lead projects focused on future planning concepts, digitalization, and process optimization.

Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with universities, research institutes, industrial partners, clusters, and funding-related stakeholders to strengthen AT&S's innovation ecosystem and collaboration opportunities
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend potential collaboration partners aligned with AT&S's technology roadmap and R&D priorities to expand strategic networks and create future innovation opportunities
- Maintain and further develop partner relationship management tools, databases, and processes to ensure transparency, accessibility, and quality of partner-related information
- Prepare analyses, reports, and management summaries on partner activities, collaboration opportunities, and innovation ecosystem developments
- Support the preparation of national and international funding proposals to increase public funding opportunities
- Facilitate consortium building and stakeholder coordination for collaborative R&D projects to ensure effective project initiation and execution
- Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across AT&S and external organizations through networking activities, workshops, and best-practice exchange
- Support the organization, coordination, and execution of partner events, workshops, innovation forums, and networking activities

Staff Scientist - Initiation and lead of new research topics in electronic and software-based systems (all genders)
- Establish, lead, and advance a new research unit, building a team of 10-20 researchers.
- Acquire financial resources to operate the research unit through the different cooperation models of SAL.
- Strategically plan and allocate resources for the Research Unit, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide mentorship, scientific guidance, and supervision of researchers.
- Corporate and profit responsibility.
- Initiate and oversee collaborative projects with academia and industry.
- Expand the research unit’s international network through partnership acquisition and ongoing network activities.
- Shape the research program of the Research Unit, creating project portfolios together with the division head.
- Grow the research unit towards research excellence and economic impact.
- Create a motivated, collaborative, and relaxed atmosphere for scientists to thrive in.
