We are looking for our customer in Graz with immediate effect:
Senior Mechanical Engineer - Hydro Generator (m/w/x)
Your tasks:
- Create, revise and approve inspection and procedural instructions
- Act as the point of contact for all NDT-related topics
- Take responsibility for qualification and certification processes within the NDT field
- Define appropriate inspection techniques (surface and volumetric testing)
- Plan and execute inspections based on contractual and applicable standard requirements
- Coordinate quality-related activities within the defined scope of responsibility, involving all relevant project stakeholders (customers, local quality organizations, suppliers, etc.)
- Plan and perform supplier inspections and acceptance tests
- Ensure that all project activities are implemented in accordance with quality requirements
- Prepare, review, and approve project-related quality documentations in the NDT area
Your profile:
- Completed technical education in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field
- Relevant professional experience in quality-related project environments, preferably in mechanical and plant engineering
- NDT certification (VT, MT, PT, UT, RT) Level II/III according to EN ISO 9712 or comparable qualification
- Experience with SNT-TC-1A is an advantage
- Experience working with welded, forged, and cast components is required
- Basis German language skills required
- Very good English skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office, SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Willingness to travel at least 70%
- High resilience and strong commitment
- Strong communications skills and a team-oriented mindset
Remuneration:
The minimum salary is € 4,354.45 gross/month; depending on the specific professional experience, there is a willingness to overpay.
