Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Technical supplier management, selection, evaluation and benchmarking of SiC suppliers for raw wafer substrates and EPI materials

• Management of single qualification projects and/or a larger project portfolio

• Identification and implementation of conceptual saving opportunities for the SiC reporting line, including the planning and execution of related activities in alignment with Infineon’s SiC procurement category strategy

• Interface to Infineon R&D and Front-End Operations, providing expertise in SiC raw materials and taking a driving role in SiC raw material-related innovation

• Definition, negotiation and ownership of SiC raw material specifications in accordance with Infineon’s manufacturing and development requirements

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed 

• Academic background in a natural science discipline, such as Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field

• 5+ years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry related to SiC power applications

• Knowledge of SiC crystal growth, wafering and SiC epitaxial (EPI) deposition

• Project management experience is considered an advantage

• Strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken

• Willingness to travel as required for business needs

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H (https://www.feei.at/aktuelles/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-eei/). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
