Head of Consolidation (f/m/d)

As Head of Consolidation, you will drive the integrity and excellence of the Group’s financial reporting, ensuring precise, timely, and IFRS‑compliant consolidated results across a diverse global structure. Acting as the organization’s lead expert on IFRS and complex accounting topics, this role oversees all consolidation cycles and safeguards the quality of external reporting.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual Group closing and ensure accurate IFRS consolidation with audit‑ready results.
• Maintain Group accounting policies and act as the IFRS expert for revenue, contracts, financing, and structural transactions.
• Coordinate all external audits and prepare materials for the Supervisory Board and Audit Committee.
• Integrate ESG/CSRD requirements into reporting and implement new IFRS and regulatory updates.
• Drive system enhancements, digitalization, and automation of consolidation, disclosures, and reporting processes.
• Monitor business‑unit risks and opportunities in collaboration with Group Risk Management.
• Partner cross‑functionally with Finance, Legal, Tax, Sales, and global subsidiaries to resolve accounting issues and ensure high reporting quality.
• Lead, develop, and prioritize a high‑performing consolidation team capable of delivering under tight deadlines.

Your Profile

• 7-10+ years of experience in Group Consolidation within large, international organizations.

• Strong IFRS expertise paired with solid audit background (Big Four experience preferred).

• Proficient in consolidation systems such as IBM TM1 (or similar) and SAP.

• Clear, confident communicator able to challenge, align, and resolve issues quickly.

• Fluent in both English and German.

• Hands‑on, proactive, structured working style with resilience during peak closing periods.
