- Design and implement scalable data platforms that support analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence needs
- Develop and maintain data infrastructure including data lakes, data lakehouses, warehouses, and streaming systems for high availability and performance
- Automate data workflows and deployments using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Ensure data security and compliance by implementing encryption, access controls, and regulatory standards (GDPR, SOC2)
- Monitor and optimize platform performance through observability tools, resource tuning, and cost management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, analysts, ML teams) to align platform capabilities with business requirements
- Integrate and manage big data technologies such as Apache Iceberg, Spark, Kafka, and cloud-native services for real-time and batch processing

Verantwortung für die Planung, den Betrieb sowie die Weiterentwicklung unseres Backbone-Netzwerks Technische Konzeption, Planung und Umsetzung maßgeschneiderter Netzwerk-Lösungen für unsere Kunden (Layer 2, Layer 3) Evaluierung neuer Technologien und Systemlösungen zur Optimierung unseres Backbones Steuerung bzw. Koordination der Hardware-Lieferanten im Netzwerkbereich Technische Unterstützung unseres Vertriebsteams bei der Ausarbeitung von Kundenlösungen Außendienst bei Umbauarbeiten im Backbone Analyse und Behebung von Störungen (2nd und 3rd Level) Planung und Durchführung von Wartungsarbeiten außerhalb der Geschäftszeiten Mitarbeit bzw. Leitung von technischen Projekten
