smaXtec offers a unique CLOUD-BASED health monitoring system for dairy cows. By analyzing data collected inside the cow using SMART ALGORITHMS & Al APPLICATION, smaXtec helps farmers to improve animal health considerably & contributes to a more sustainable dairy industry.
you want to
- Supporting the Hardware Team with Linux based LoRaWAN gateways
- Integration of new gateway producers into the smaXtec system (selection, definition, serial transition)
- Building and improving a Cl/CD Pipeline to rollout updates to our gateways
- Assisting in design and development of a fleet control and management system with Ansible and implementing the remote execution of commands on the fleet to simplify customer support
- Building test setups involving hardware, firmware, test equipment, and scripting for evaluation
your profile
- You consider yourself a "tinkerer" who likes to find the perfect solution
- You get excited about working and developing with Linux and bash scripts
- You bring a completed technical education/technical studies (HTL, Telematics, Informatics, Software Development, ...) or equivalent experience in Linux and Python environments
- Using git in your daily work is self-evident to you
- Advanced experience with LoRaWAN would be a big plus
- You bring an independent working style, a clear communication skill & solution oriented personality as well as very good English and/or German skills

- For Junior level: a monthly salary of at least EUR 2.600,00 gross for 38.5 hours. Based on your experience and qualification your salary will be adapted accordingly.
